rhymes with milk

I was listening to headphones while doing the dishes tonight, and Ally was at her desk doing homework. This song came up on my iPod. I ran over to Ally, grabbed her hand and pulled her up from her chair. We had an impromptu dance party while this song played in my headphones. She didn’t hear a single note of music, but she still danced her heart out with me for the entire 3 minutes and 11 seconds.

That’s how you know you have an awesome girlfriend.

I just put my name on the Denver Broncos season ticket waiting list. Apparently there are 28,000 people ahead of me, so my tickets are expected to be available in about 13-15 years. Not bad, right?

Another amazing show, but different than I expected. Gorillaz actually had a band, and not just a virtual one. A huge band, actually. I think I counted close to 40 performers altogether, not including all the artists that tour with them just to sing the 1 or 2 songs they’re featured on. Incredible.

Here’s the encore. Such poor quality that I recommend you don’t watch, and in fact, don’t even listen. Neither are worth it.

I decided I wanted to get some use out of my tripod, so I took a few nighttime long exposures over the weekend. None of the photos turned out very well, but it was a productive shoot nonetheless.

Since then my camera hasn’t left the top of the tripod, so I decided to take unnecessarily long exposures indoors for no reason. 13 seconds for the above shot.

And Bonnie sat still for 1/8 second for this one.

Still working with Lightroom, and I’m getting a bit more used to it.

The fall colors in Boulder are so nice. Planning on venturing into the mountains this weekend before the weather starts kicking their ass.
